Scrumptious Sunday!

Home-Made Apple Pie!

Hey Guys!
So today I decided to share one of my all time favourite recipes with you guys! I would've included pictures, however that means I would have to make it which let's face it- is a time consuming activity even though this is one of the quickest ones! Let's get started x

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 200g of granulated sugar
  • 125g of sifted white flour
  • Cinnamon
  • 5-10 apples

Method:

  • Wash and peel your apples.
  • Then cop them into thin quarters and add to a large bowl.
  • Add a tsp of cinnamon for flavour (if your apples are sour add a tsp of sugar too!) and gently mix together.
  • Put that aside.
  • Then, in a separate bowl add the 3 eggs along with 200g of granulated sugar and use an electric mixer/ 'Kitchen Aid' to mix together.
  • Prepare your oven pan with butter and dried bread crumbles to form a secure base for your pie.
  • Add your apple mixture to the pan and layer your dough on top, making sure you cover all the gaps.
  • Place your pan into the oven on 220'C for around 50 minutes.
  • Keep checking with a little skewer and if you take it out of your pie without any dough on it your pie is ready to come out!
  • Serve alone or with some whipped cream and fresh berries! Volia!
As you can see, this is a really easy recipe and would only take up 1 hour and half from your day ?(maximum). I hope you enjoyed this and comment down below if you want a series of 'Scrumptious Sunday)! Post your pictures of the apple pie and tell me how it turned out!
