My Trip to Lithuania!

Hey Guys!

If you didn't know already, I'm from Lithuania and a couple of months ago I went back to visit my nan and got some great pictures! I never talk about this so it will be the first and last time I do, but I wanted to share some of the pictures I took while I was there because I'm actually quite proud of them!

                                                                                               

 These are the two pictures I took as I was taking off from London, I have a better quality one posted on my Instagram, but I couldn't find it to show you so if you want to check it out I'll leave my Instagram at the end! They aren't very good because it was already getting dark, but I still got some cool shots.

Also, just to let you know, these pictures are not going to be in the order of which I took them in, so sorry about that.

I went for a walk with my mum and I just thought that this was really nice building so I took a picture!

I think this is on the same street. I felt like a professional photographer when taking a this photo. I'm really pleased with how this turned out!

I just thought that we all need to admire this road and some leaves for a minute so let's do it *1 minute later* OK, we can move on now!

After a nice little walk now the 'Vintage Town' we went into a cafe and I had a salmon burger with some fries and home-made lemonade!

 I just realised that I didn't actually take any photos of my meal, but I hope you don't get too hungry looking at my cake that I got plenty of shots of!!

This is nothing really, but as always, I thought it looked cool!

Would you look at that beauty.. It was a red velvet cake with some vanilla ice cream and LOADS of cream!

The day before this, I went on another walk, but this time it was up a very steep hill which looks over the whole town basically. Isn't that cool? On top there was a tower and the picture I took of it looks insane!!

 It was so lovely to just stop and enjoy the view before setting off to go down the hill again!

As you've probably noticed by now, I've been posting a lot compared to a few months ago! During winter there's not much to do, it gets dark earlier and I'd much rather stay in and write for you so I've decided to write  loads and loads to post later on. Let's just get started with it..

1.3 things you can't leave the house without?

I know the answer to this straight away- my phone,keys and money!

2. Favourite brand of make-up?

Right now, I'm loving Collection and Rimmel London

3. Favourite Flowers?

I like a lot, but only know the name of two- orchids and daisies!

Hmm, I don't really have a scent that I would always wear, but I do like the Zoella Beauty summer scent. Here's a picture:

6.Heels or flats?

Definitely flats! I can't walk in heels to save my life..

7.Do you have good grades at school?

Yes, so far I do and I hope they stay that way haha

8.Favourite colours?

I guess I like all of the colours, but blue is ,my go-to colour as you can probably tell from my blog!

9.Do you drink energy drinks?

Sometimes, my favourite is Lucozade and if you haven't tried it then where have you been all your life??

10.Do you drink juice?

On some occasions I do, the tropical flavour is always the one I would pick!

11.Do you like swimming?

YES!! I love it, it's one of my favourite sports to do along with badminton and table tennis!

12.Do you eat fries with a fork?

It really depends, at home I tend not to, but in public I will probably use cutlery.

13.What's your favourite moisturiser?

I don't use moisturiser that much because my skin doesn't require it, but I like the Simple moisturiser for my face.

14.Do you want to get married later on in life?

Yes yes yes yes yes

15.Do you get mad easily?

Depends on the day, situation and my mood, but mostly I'd say no.

16.Are you into ghost hunting?

I like the creepiness of it, but personally, I don't believe in ghosts.

17.Any phobias?

Heights and the dark. It;s not the dark itself, it's what lurks there

18.Do you bite your nails?

I used to, but I stopped when my cousin shew me her nails and said that they don't grow any more because she used to bite them so much (she's 28).

19.Have you ever had a near death experience?

Not that I remember (thank God+ touch wood)

20.Do you drink coffee?

Only Starbucks!

A Christmassy Q&A!

A Christmas Q&A!

Hey Guys!

I asked my Twitter followers and friends to ask me Christmas related questions and I got some from the internet. Basically, as you can tell by the title I'm doing a Christmassy Q&A!

1. Do you do anything to countdown the days until Christmas?

Yes, I have a Maltesers Advent Calender and like with most advent calendars, I just eat a chocolate everyday until the 25th!

2. When do you put of your decorations?

It varies each year, but this year they went up on the 21st November ( I KNOW!!) and now I'm 

getting really bored of them!

3.Name the first 5 things on your Christmas list.

Mine are:

• Zoella and Tanya Burr products!
• Yankee Candle products!
• A New Watch!
• 2016 Calendar
• Nike Jacket

These are just some of the things I'm asking for this year though😂

4. Do you prefer giving or receiving gifts?
I'm not sure, I mean getting presents is great, but I like making people happy so giving presents is also enjoyable!

5. What's your favourite Christmas movie?
I love them all, however I'm gonna have to say 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' because it's so funny and definitely Christmassy.

6.What's your favourite part of Christmas dinner?
This is hard.. I'm going to have to say the stuffing or the yorkshire pudding.. Okay, now I'm craving roast😂

7. Do you prefer the build-up to Christmas or Christmas day itself?
I think it's the build-up, although this year I don't feel festive at all and can't wait for summer!!

Update + Leaving My Cat?

No WiFi for a Week..?

Hey Guys!

So I thought I would let you know (that's if anyone reads these posts) that I won't be posting in around 10 days for sure! See, I'm flying over to Lithuania to visit my nan, who I haven't seen in nearly  years, and some friends. I'm flying tomorrow and coming back at 2am on the 2nd of November, but I think I may need some time to settle back down here so that's why it's 10 days and not less. To be honest, I really don't want to go.. Not because it will be freezing there and possible snowing already, but because I have to leave my cat, Millie, behind. Now, you may think that's a bit too attached, but it's the truth!

Another reason, that's pulling be back from being exited to go is that I won't have WiFi most days as I'm staying at my nan's and I don't think she even knows what it is..😂 I will try get some cool picture's while I'm there though and possible make a blog post about my journey! 

One thing I am REALLY looking forward to is the plane picture. If you don't have a clue what I am on about I'll leave at the end of this post so you can see. My flight is at 5o'Clock so it should still be light outside which means I can take a picture out of the window on the plane with all the fluffy clouds and the wing in shot! I also get to enjoy the beautiful view while it's still light; the last time I was on a plane it was dark so I pressed my nose against the small window just to see a few street lights and buildings.

I think this is it for today's post, time for me to start packing! Oh, and don't worry; we (my mum and I) have someone coming everyday while we're away to make sure my cat isn't hungry and has plenty of fresh water!

I'm a fail!

I'm a fail..

Hey Guys!

Wow.. I'm speechless myself! I haven't posted in forever and I am sorry (that's if anyone enjoyed by blogs anyway).

A lot has changed in the past months; my views on various people and just me in general. I'm not going to talk about a specific topic just yet because it is my first post in nearly 3 months and I don't feel ready to be the old me yet. Even now, I feel like I'm writing in such a serious tone and it just doesn't feel right 😭!

What cheers me up though is that I've been talking to a friend I met on Twitter for nearly a year now!! THAT'S CRAZY! Her name is Katie and I'm so glad we started talking!We're really lucky to live in the same town because it's much easier to meet! We both ordered the Pointless Blog Limited Edition T-Shirts and we can't wait to finally get them! Here are some pictures:

I've also become friends with another nice girl, also called Katie who is also very lovely!

Raspberry Cupcakes and a Fun Weekend!

Hey Guys!

So over the past weekend, my friend Bubbles slept round my house for a night, from Friday to Saturday! We were wondering what we should do and I came up with the idea of baking these amazing raspberry cupcakes. I included some pictures of the ingredients used and a picture of the cupcake. I'll also link the website where we got the recipe from at the end!

Ingredients:

For the cakes:

150g of Caster Sugar.

150g of Self-Raising Flour.

3 Large, Free Range Eggs.

100g frozen raspberry's.

For Decorating:

Whipped Cream

Sprinkles

Raspberry's

Equipment:

A table knife for the butter.

A table spoon for the flour.

A large mixing bowl.

A smaller bowl for the raspberry's.

12 muffin cases.

A baking tray.

A cutting board to cut the raspberry's on.

A Kitchen-Aid or a hand mixer.

Scales to measure your ingredients.

Photographer in the Dark. 8.

Chapter 8.

It's All My Fault.

As Louise drops the phone on to the hard, wooden floor silence takes over the room. I feel my heart rise up to my throat and struggle for breath, I try ever so hard to control it, I can't leave Louise alone in this.

"He- he's in the hospital after a——" Louise breaks off there and I don't need to ask no more, he got in a car accident. We stand up at the same time and as if we were machines, make out way towards the front door, not caring about any coats or jackets.. Nothing.

It seems like forever until we reach Sonny's ward and see him lay motionless. Louise throws her arms around him, while I stand in the door way, clutching my fists- it's all my fault, it's all my fault. The phrase is ringing in my head- the words printed out black on white.. It's all my fault, it's all my fault. Slowly I make my way out into the corridor of the empty hospital, but before i know it, I get dragged my soft hands "Where are you going darling? You can't leave all by yourself, not when Sonny's like that! Hear, take a seat" it was Louise again. I thank her, but the words are still ringing. Before I know it I say them out loud but the doctors and Louise were denying it after every word I spoke.

When I wake up the next morning, I'm back in Sonny's room. Expecting to be alone, I stretch and yawn with my eyes shut tight, unable to face the reality when I suddenly hit a warm, muscular body. I jump up, but all I see is Sonny smiling up at me, his eyes glistening in the sunshine.

"I thought you were in hospital? Me and your mum went to see you last night.. We were told you were in a car crash!"

"Not exactly.. But i was brought back home about an hour ago- it's now 1pm so you've been sleeping for a while. Tell me, what do you dream of?" Sonny's soft voice is like melody, beautiful melody- so persuading and reassuring.

"Oh, ugh.." I remember the dream I had a while ago, back in my old house and shudder. "I had a dream about going to Hollywood and walking on the red carpet as men in black coats take pictures of me. Later I see them over the news papers, the television and the social media. I became so famous and rich- no one would ever dare to hurt me or my lov-" I stop as soon as I realize what I'm talking about. "I didn't mean to say all that.."

Sonny sights deeply, sounding disappointed "Amber, those nightmares you've been having about the incident at your old house.. Well, you talk in your sleep so I couldn't help but know. The man in the red uniform does exist and claims to know you as a close family friend and wants to know where you're sheltering at the moment. I obviously didn't say a word about it.. I told him to fuck off and leave you alone. Can you guess how this happened?" he lightly takes hold of my hand and brushes it over the dried cuts on his face.

"Oh Sonny, you shouldn't have done that! I knew it was all my fault!!" I think I said it too loud, as I now hear footsteps coming up the stairs, then a soft knock on the door and then Louise's face appears in the door way. She asks if everything is okay and we both reassure her- but it's not really. It's never okay when I'm around.

A Chatty Post!

Hey!

Hey Guys!

I was thinking of what to talk about in this post as I'm in the mood for writing one and I didn't come up with anything.. Sooooo we'll just have a chat! Today is a Thursday and I'm at home because we have a half-term holiday (THANK GOD) and I'm planning to just chill and relax today. It's currently 12:35pm, but I'm still in bed with my blinds shut. All I'm planning to do today is go on a bike ride, have a relaxing bath and wash my hair, which really isn't much so I guess I am having a super lazy day!

While writing the first bit, I figured that these kind of posts might get a little bring at times because I do not have pictures, so from now on I will have a mix between written posts and picture posts! I will obviously still write, it'll just be more visual and I'm sure it will take so much less effort to read! I also want to get back into writing my book- 'Photographer in the Dark' because I have the WHOLE story line planned out in my mind, but I never get round to writing it anymore. 

Well, I'm gonna go now and continue writing my book! I do hope you enjoy reading it, even though I haven't updated it in such a long time!

I'm back!

Back!

Hey Guys!

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in absolutely ages- I've been rather busy and tired with school and because I've started a workout routine my schedule got even fuller.. I'll update you on what happened in these past centuries that I haven't blogged!

I got an internet friend and when we talked for a bit, it turned out we live in the same town! She's so nice and it's really easy to talk to her even though we haven't met yet. Meanwhile my other friend Bubbles (which you've heard of if you read my previous posts) didn't even bother telling me she had internet friends.. Wow. I know she will read this, but I didn't want to keep it in.. Plus she's my best friend and we will always sort it out in the end! Talking about that, she's sleeping at my house this Friday so we'll try do a Blog-Collab somehow! Oh and me and my internet friend are planning to meet up and go to the bouncy castles which is going to be hilarious! 

I've also started a little work out routine and going to a stadium near where I live to ride my bike for a sport purpose. I partially do it because I want to loose weight, but also to be healthy and feel good about my body!

When I came to write this I though I had a bit more to update you guys about, but turns out I don't! Beauty Tag!

42 Questions - Beauty Tag!

Today I thought i would do a beauty edition tag because I want to share my beauty preferences with you guys! That's all for my mini introduction and let's get started!

Skincare:

-How many times do you wash your face daily? - Daily, I wash my face around 3-4 times!

-What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo) - I'm not really sure, my skin isn't dry, oily or a bit of both so I don't know!
-What is your current facial wash? - I don't use facial wash as I'm only 12 and my skin has already got all the needed oils and the benefits face washes give you. If any other 12 year old does that, congratulations on ruining your skin in future life!

-Do you exfoliate? - Nope. I do, however use exfoliating face wipes sometimes to freshen my face up! 
-What brand do you use? - I use a mixture, right now I've really been loving the 'Natural Collection' from Boots.
-What moisturizer do you use? - I also use a mixture, right now I've been loving the Simple face moisturizer because it's very light weight on your skin and doesn't seem to damage it! 
-Do you have freckles? - Altogether, I think I have about 20 freckles- so yes I do, but they're not easy to see!
-Do you use eye cream? - Nope, as I said I'm only 12 years old and eye cream is unneeded!
-Do you or did you have acne prone skin? - I don't at the moment and I really hope I'll become one of those lucky people who have never experienced acne!
-Did you ever have to use Pro-Active?

Make-Up!

-What foundation do you use? I use the Natural Collection foundation in light, although that's the lightest colour it's still waaaaaaaaay too dark for my skin tone!
-How about concealer? I either use the MakeUp Gallery concealer or one from the Natural Collection, both in the shade fair!
-Do you know your undertone color? Nope!
-What do you think of fake eyelashes? I think they look fine as long as people don't go over-board with them. Personally I choose not to wear them!
-Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months? I do now!
-What brand of mascara do you use? I use the Mabelinne one or MakeUp Gallery mascaras!
-Sephora or MAC? I've never tried Sephora, but I'll say both!
-Do you have a MAC Pro-card? No!
-What makeup tools do you use in make up application? I mainly use a foundation sponge and a variation of different brushes!
-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes? No, however I am looking for a good quality one!
-For the face? Yes, but it depends how long I'm planning on wearing the make-up look!
-What is your favorite eye shadow (color or shade)? I love browns and natural shades!
-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner? I don't use any eyeliner!
-How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil? Never, as I don't use it!
-What do you think of pigment eye shadows?
-Do you use mineral makeup? No!
-What is your favorite lipstick? I don't really have a favourite lipstick, but I think the MAC ones are amazing!
-How about lip gloss? Recently I've been loving the raspberry one from I love... range!
-What is your favorite blush to use? I use dou's a lot, but as I don't have a consistent blush I can't name it!
-Do you buy your makeup on Ebay? No!
-Do you like drugstore makeup? Yes, I don't use many high-end brands anyway!
-Do you go to CCO's (cosmetic company outlets)? I don't really know!
-Did you ever consider taking make-up classes? The thought never crossed my mind!
-Are you clumsy in putting on makeup? I wouldn't say so!
-Name a makeup crime that you hate? Smokey eyes for casual activities and many more!
-Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eye shadow) or neutral ones? It really depends, but I can't choose between the two!
-Which celebrity always has great make up? In my opinion it's Cheryl Cole!
-If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use? Mascara as it really gives the 'awake' effect!
-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on? YES!
-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on? Some days I think I look decent, but some dreadful so it depends on my mood and the situation!
-In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line? I really don't know!
-What do you think of Makeup? It's a cool thing, honestly.. As long as people don't go over board about it or use it when they're too young!

Update and What Happened?

Hey Guys!
I am so sorry about not posting in a while, for an unknown reason I started being really tired after school and just fall asleep every evening - even when I go to bed early! Well, today I'll be updating you guys on what's been going on and talking about a specific event that happened today after school, in my school's library.

Since my last Blog Post, I've re-started a YouTube Channel, I'm not going to link it because I think it's not that good.. In fact, I think the quality is quite bad! If you do want to find my channel in YouTube, then my name is Blinding Pastel. I've also came to a few decisions; first of all I've decided to improve my behaviour in school. Not that it's terrible, I am cheeky to some teachers- especially the ones who can't really control the class, so my attitude makes the matters a while lot worse! I've also realized that I want to expand my make-up collection.. The only trouble is that I won't have enough storage space so I really want to move house! You see, at the moment my room is rather small which I hate!! I was also going to tell you another one of my decisions, but as I was writing the previous sentence it completely abandoned my mind.

So, now it's time for the story! Today after school Bubbles and I started behind with our R.E teacher because it's always a laugh! Another student came to him asking for help and he has to obviously talk to her and her mother about it. (My R.E teacher is going to have a nickname so I don't have to keep using the 'him' or 'his' term, the nickname is going to be..Hmmm.. Smiley? He ALWAYS smiles!) Right, so Smiley asked us to go to the library while he has a quick chat with the people-  Bubbles and I were originally banned from the library for something we haven't done, but when we stepped through the door we were welcomed with a Wispa chocolate cookie, seems nice? I thought so too! Me and Bubbles were laughing and joking about phone calls home, at one point I was standing near the librarian desk when an annoying, pathetic, little (Year 10) boy pulled my bag and hair for the fun of it. I obviously told him to go away (f*ck off) and he responded by insulting me and my mum. I hit him in the face, I don't do it strong enough to hurt him, although I wish I did! The school librarian (nickname: Heartless), Heartless heard every single word and called the boy a 'Good lad.' and proceeds mispronouncing my last name on purpose after I asked him not to. Teachers at our school can get in serious trouble for that, however my head of year is very protective of teachers and will probably take Heartless' side over mine. I was very upset by those events, so I though I'd share them with you!

So my Blinding_Pastel stands for showing your true colours and not being afraid of being yourself!

38. Last place you were? - My kitchen. But the last place I was, out of the country must be Belgium when I went there over the last summer holidays!

40. Last time you kissed someone? - Does my cat count? Well if it does, then a few minutes ago and if not... It's been ages!
41. Last time you were insulted? - This morning, when I was in form, one of my class mates was handing out the dinner tickets and when it came to mine he deliberately pronounced my name wrong- 'Villy' by which he meant 'Willy'. I also just want to say my name is not any of the above :) !
42. Favourite flavour of sweet? - I like most sweets as long as they're not liquorish flavour.. I'd have to say my favourite are strawberry!
43. What instruments do you play? - I used to play the piano and the flute, however I moved away and my personal teacher is no longer able to assist me. in learning.
44. Favourite piece of jewelry? - I don't really have a favourite at the moment, but it used to be a black choker necklace with a 'Ying-Yang' sign on it!
45. Last sport you played? - This was ages ago, before the half-term holidays, I played badminton, although biking does count as a sport and I did that last week!
46. Last song you sang? - I can't really remember, but I think I hummed along to the Hollyoaks theme tune.. An actual song is probably 'Blank Space' by Taylor Swift!
47. Favourite chat up line? - 'Are you Google? 'Cause you have everything I'm looking for' or 'Have you just sat in a pile of sugar? 'Cause you have a sweet ass' !
48. Have you ever used it? - Me and Bubbles always joke about them it, but I've never used it seriously!
49. Last time you hung out with someone? - Not counting my mum and my cat, me and Bubbles spent the whole day together at school!
